We are looking for bright, fun, interesting pieces to celebrate the office’s five years on Capitol Hill.  This is CHAL members only juried exhibition.  CHAL’s own artists, Kimberley Bursic and Sarah Porter are the jurors.

Please submit your artwork digitally through CHAL’s Smarter Entry:  IMPORTANT CHAL members need to enter the passcode which was in the google group email to be able to submit. To cover costs of the digital entry system, CHAL members can submit up to 3 pieces for $10.  A real bargain for the exposure your artwork will receive during the summer blockbuster party, July 13, 2018 and beyond. Submissions deadline: June 8, 2018  Jurors’ notification by:  June 25, 2018

Community Forklift’s Annual Spring Garden Party/Sale  March 24, 2018 from 9am-3pm.

Setup  for Chal members/artists: March 23, 2018 from 5-7 pm. Bring up to six items and you will hang those on the walls. Bring hammers please!  We will have bins for works in clear bags, and tables for hand-made or printed pieces, i.e. coasters, cutting boards, single and boxed cards and matted prints, etc. Each participant must volunteer to set up, man the sales tables, and take down.  The sales table will need two people for each of three two hour shifts, 9-11, 11-1, or 1-3

There is no charge to participate in this event and no commission is taken.  All money collected will be given to the artists.  Last year CHAL participants gave a donation to CFL to support the work they do for the community and those in need. We ask that each artist bring an envelope with your name and about $20 in small bills and change.  This will be returned to you at the end of the event.

Please email steering committee at by February 23, 2018 if you want to participate!
