The Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL) provides artists with opportunities to meet each other, talk about art and learn in a friendly environment; gives artists opportunities to exhibit and sell their work in a gallery setting; and promotes the growth and appreciation of visual arts in the Capitol Hill community and beyond. Located in the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW), we maintain a close programming relationship with CHAW.

February 2012 is here and so the next juried CHAL exhibit can't be far away. But for February that's exactly what artists can exhibit. Marsha Staiger, artist and Alexandria Art League instructor, is judging the February exhibit, themed "Far Away".
